About Me

Here at Art of Graceful Aging we are devoted to exploring topics about health, wealth and beauty and providing resources that are of interest and importance to women, especially those of us that are in the over fifty age group.

Life and overall lifestyles, health, and finances may change a lot as we navigate this period in our lives. Between menopause, changes in lifestyle and income, different focuses in employment or retirement, and changes in health status, things can be very overwhelming! 

​

However, that doesn't mean that we can't live rich and full lives and age beautifully and gracefully. That, at least is what I intend to do! 

​

As an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner with over 18 years of experience in Women's Health, and a female over 50 myself, I really wanted to explore some of these issues pertinent to our age group and share them with other women. 

Personally, I am passionate about women's health, both medically and aesthetically, and my work. My clinic, (Foothills Center for Women) and spa are in a little town in semi-rural North Carolina. I have a great family, including my husband, three AMAZING grown children and great son-in-law, two little grandchildren that are the absolute light of my life and a crazy little poodle named Bud. I love to travel, read and cook, so you will often find topics here that touch all of this!

I like to research products that have a positive impact on the planet , and because I am a female business owner, I like to learn about companies that are female owned.
